On December 15, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) held the 2023 National Award Ceremony for Typical Rural Industrial Products and the opening of the Rural Industry Goods Exhibition.
Among the 173 products honored this year, the rubber mattress and pillow set produced by Dong Phu Rubber Technical JSC was officially recognized as a National Typical Rural Industrial Product 2023 — a testament to its outstanding quality and market potential.

During the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan congratulated the localities, enterprises, and producers whose products were honored, emphasizing that these achievements represent the innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship of Vietnam’s rural industries.
The MOIT recognized 173 products and product sets that stand out across key industrial sectors, demonstrating strong local advantages, high utility value, quality, and aesthetic appeal, as well as significant potential for expanded production and domestic and export market growth.
Encouraging Sustainable Industrial Development
Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan called on central ministries, socio-economic organizations, and provincial Departments of Industry and Trade to continue supporting enterprises through:

Developing sustainable value chain linkages to drive rural economic restructuring and labor transformation.
He also urged enterprises to build upon their recognition, further invest in product diversification and quality enhancement, and contribute more actively to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

In parallel with the award ceremony, the Rural Industry Goods Exhibition 2023 showcased 500 m² of exhibition spacewith 250 standard booths from rural industrial enterprises nationwide.
The event provided a valuable platform for enterprises to connect, network, and expand trade partnerships, while promoting rural products to both domestic and international buyers.
The exhibition also featured thematic seminars offering insights and practical solutions for improving business efficiency, integrating digital technology, and enhancing product value through branding and marketing.
