Scenic Phan Đình Giót Street in Buôn Ma Thuột to Become a Free Coffee Street

Along with more than 350 coffee shops, the picturesque Phan Đình Giót Street in Buôn Ma Thuột will transform into a free coffee street during the city’s 8th Buôn Ma Thuột Coffee Festival, with four major corporations and companies taking part.

On February 28, Trần Đức Nhật, Vice Chairman of the Buôn Ma Thuột City People’s Committee (Đắk Lắk Province), announced that four major businesses have registered to host activities on Phan Đình Giót Street (Tân Tiến Ward) for the 2023 festival.

According to Mr. Nhật, besides the cultural and tourism programs, Phan Đình Giót Street will be dedicated to free coffee tasting during the event. The four participating brands are: Trung Nguyên Group JSC, 2-9 Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd (Simexco Đắk Lắk), TNI King Coffee Co., Ltd, and Pro Event Media Co., Ltd (Ama Coffee brand).

In addition, more than 350 coffee shops across Đắk Lắk—mostly in Buôn Ma Thuột—have registered to serve free coffee to visitors throughout the festival. “This will truly be a celebration of free coffee,” Mr. Nhật emphasized.

A representative of Simexco Đắk Lắk (2-9 Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd) shared that the company has been authorized by the Buôn Ma Thuột City People’s Committee to organize the “Simexco Coffee Tour”, a series of activities promoting specialty and premium coffees on Phan Đình Giót Street.

Visitors will be able to experience and enjoy specialty coffee, watch live brewing demonstrations, join a “Love Coffee – Love Ban Mê” talk show, and explore art exhibitions and street music performances.

“We hope the Simexco Coffee Tour will spread widely, offering festivalgoers a unique cultural coffee experience and the chance to discover Buôn Ma Thuột—the world’s coffee destination,” the company representative said.
