Turkey’s Cashew Imports Rise in Both Volume and Value
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), during the first seven months of 2025, Turkey imported more than 14.7 thousand tons of shelled cashew nuts (HS code 08013200).
This represents a 5.6% increase in import volume and a significant 41.5% increase in import value, reaching a total of USD 104.4 million compared with the same period in 2024.
The strong rise in import value reflects higher global cashew prices and strong consumer demand for healthy snack products in Turkey, where cashews continue to be one of the most preferred nuts in daily consumption and the food processing industry.
