According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh, Director of IPP Sachi JSC (Sachi Foods), headquartered in Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province, the company has just completed its first official export shipment of nearly 10,000 Sachi grilled rice paper and Sachi coconut rice paper products to South Korea.

This is the first-ever official export of Sachi rice paper — and Binh Dinh rice paper in general — to the Korean market, opening doors for long-term cooperation with foreign partners. Previously, the product was mostly sold domestically or exported informally in small quantities through hand-carried channels.
“This shipment is not only a source of pride for our company but also a significant step forward in introducing Binh Dinh specialties to global consumers,” said CEO Nguyen Huu Vinh.
Meeting Strict Korean Standards
The Korean partners imposed strict requirements on product quality, food safety, packaging, and labeling, leading to a negotiation process that lasted about a month before the deal was finalized.
Sachi Foods made certain technical adjustments to meet South Korea’s import standards, while preserving the authentic flavor and quality of traditional Binh Dinh rice paper.
Mr. Vinh emphasized that Sachi’s success in penetrating the Korean market lies in its international-standard quality and rigorous testing processes that comply fully with food safety regulations.
Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
Combining traditional craftsmanship with creative innovation, Sachi Foods has developed a product with a distinctive flavor representing Binh Dinh’s culinary identity. Its modern packaging design also meets the expectations of demanding markets such as South Korea, Japan, and Europe.
“Following this initial shipment, IPP Sachi will continue exporting full container loads of rice paper to South Korea. We aim to expand production and enter other potential markets to promote Binh Dinh’s specialties worldwide,” the CEO affirmed.
