Article:
According to the latest data, Côte d’Ivoire’s total natural rubber exports reached 521,995 tons during the first four months of 2025, marking a 5.2% increase compared with 496,035 tons in the same period of 2024.

In April 2025 alone, export volume rose by 19.9% year-on-year but fell 8.2% month-on-month, reflecting typical seasonal fluctuations in global demand and logistics.

As one of Africa’s top natural rubber producers, Côte d’Ivoire continues to see steady growth in export volumes. In recent years, the country’s rubber output has expanded as many farmers have shifted from cocoa to rubber cultivation, attracted by more stable income and rising global demand.

This trend has strengthened Côte d’Ivoire’s position in the global rubber supply chain, making the sector a vital contributor to rural development and foreign exchange earnings.
