Geru Star Boosts Outsourcing Production for Partners

Despite numerous challenges and global market instability in 2022, Geru Star Sports Joint Stock Company exceeded all business performance targets, including revenue and profit, while ensuring stable livelihoods for its employees. This success lays a strong foundation for the company to achieve further breakthroughs in 2023.

Overcoming Difficulties with Unity and Determination

Although the company currently faces limitations in capital and outdated equipment, Geru Star has effectively utilized its skilled and dedicated technical workforce to improve machinery and maintain stable production. Nearly all products meet quality requirements and customer expectations both domestically and internationally.

Production and sales have been closely aligned, helping the company overcome difficulties and surpass its economic targets for the year.

In 2022, Geru Star produced over one million sports balls of various types—12.5% above the annual plan—and sold approximately the same number, exceeding the target by 12.29%. Total revenue reached VND 88 billion, 14.8% higher than planned, while pre-tax profit exceeded VND 1.6 billion, achieving 106.7% of the annual target. Average employee income reached over VND 11 million per month, equivalent to 122% compared to 2021.

This success is attributed to the unity and solidarity of all company members. Internal organizations actively supported the leadership in motivating workers, promptly addressing challenges, and regularly improving employee welfare—such as increasing meal allowances to ensure workers’ health and productivity.

Strengthening Outsourcing and Expanding New Markets

Looking ahead to 2023, which is expected to bring continued challenges, the company remains determined to meet and exceed all assigned business targets. Geru Star aims to enhance employee welfare, diversify export markets, and expand the Geru Star brand both domestically and internationally.

According to Mr. Tran Van Hanh, Party Secretary and General Director of Geru Star:

“Our management team will maximize efficiency in production and business operations, focusing on product innovation and development. We aim to expand into the northern market and strengthen outsourcing production for external partners. We will continue adjusting wage rates appropriately, upgrading working conditions, and improving meal quality to safeguard employee health and maintain stable operations. This year’s success will serve as a stepping stone for next year’s achievements and long-term growth.”

In 2023, Geru Star also plans to promote emulation and reward programs, highlight exemplary individuals and teams, and implement stage-specific action plans aligned with production realities. The company’s long-term orientation is to develop sustainably and strengthen the Geru Star sports ball brand as a trusted and competitive name in both domestic and international markets.
