
On the morning of July 25, at Nam Pleiku Industrial Park (Gia Lai Province), Chu Se Rubber One Member Limited Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Phase I construction of the wastewater treatment system, under the project “Investment in Construction and Infrastructure Business of Nam Pleiku Industrial Park, Gia Lai Province.”
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Huu Que – Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, representatives from provincial departments and agencies, the Economic Zone Management Board, and leaders of Chu Se and Chu Prong Districts.

The Nam Pleiku Industrial Park project was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 1118/QD-TTg dated September 3, 2019, with a total adjusted investment capital of VND 476.6 billion, covering an area of 191.55 ha. The park’s establishment was officially approved by the Gia Lai People’s Committee under Decision No. 576/QD-UBND dated September 27, 2019.
Since the approval, Chu Se Rubber Company, under the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), has implemented various legal and technical preparations, including land conversion procedures and investment infrastructure works.
In 2023, the company allocated VND 133 billion for nine major construction items, including:

Phase I of the wastewater treatment system,

Traffic and drainage systems for Road D4,

Firefighting water supply system,

Perimeter drainage system,
-
Site leveling and retention ponds, and
-
External regulating reservoir construction.
Technical Specifications of the Wastewater Treatment System
The Phase I wastewater treatment system will have a capacity of 2,000 m³/day-night, with a total investment of over VND 30 billion.
The system includes 11 main components, such as:

Emergency pond,

Residual water collection tank,

Operation and laboratory buildings,

Chemical warehouse and mixing area,

Sludge press house,

Commitment to Sustainable Infrastructure Development
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que – Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Province, congratulated VRG and Chu Se Rubber Company for completing the necessary documentation and obtaining the construction permit for Phase I.
He emphasized that the VND 30 billion investment in wastewater treatment infrastructure demonstrates VRG’s strong commitment to sustainable industrial development, ensuring that Nam Pleiku Industrial Park will soon become operational with a modern and environmentally friendly infrastructure system.
Mr. Pham Duy Muon – General Director of Chu Se Rubber Company, expressed gratitude to provincial leaders for their support and reaffirmed the company’s determination to implement the project efficiently and on schedule.
Provincial Support for Industrial Expansion
Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Que also shared that Gia Lai Province is actively attracting investors in manufacturing and processing industries. In the near future, the province plans to establish new industrial clusters in Dak Doa, Dak Po, Mang Yang, and Ia Grai Districts.
He called on the Economic Zone Management Board to closely coordinate with VRG and Chu Se Rubber Companyto streamline administrative procedures and build favorable investment policies, paving the way for the development of additional industrial parks and clusters across Gia Lai Province.
