The Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo North America 2025 took place from June 25–26, 2025, at the NRG Exhibition Center in Houston, Texas, USA. This prestigious event is one of the most significant gatherings for the hydrogen and advanced energy industries, bringing together top global partners involved in research, development, and implementation of hydrogen-related projects.
Key Highlights of the 2025 Event
Table of Contents
The 2025 edition showcased cutting-edge technologies for hydrogen production, energy storage, distribution, and real-world applications, alongside low-carbon fuels and advanced hydrogen equipment manufacturing solutions.
The event attracted:
-
Over 500 exhibitors presenting the latest hydrogen and carbon capture technologies;
-
More than 10,000 attendees from the United States, Europe, Asia, and beyond;
-
250+ expert speakers covering key topics such as policy development, technology innovation, R&D, and industrial applications.
The exhibition was organized alongside the Carbon Capture Technology Expo and featured special sessions on ammonia’s role in the hydrogen economy — a growing area of focus for global decarbonization strategies.
Hydrogen – The Future of Clean Energy
Hydrogen is forecasted to supply 10% of the world’s total energy demand by 2050. Its only byproduct during use is water vapor, making it a clean, zero-emission fuel suitable for diverse applications.
Hydrogen can also be processed into ammonia (NH₃) — a low-carbon compound formed by combining nitrogen (N)and hydrogen (H). Ammonia serves both as an industrial fuel for heavy manufacturing and as a key component in fertilizer production, thereby linking clean energy with agriculture and global food security.
With zero greenhouse gas emissions, hydrogen offers transformative potential for industries such as power generation, transportation, steelmaking, and chemicals, supporting global efforts toward carbon neutrality and sustainable industrial growth.
A Platform for Global Collaboration
The Hydrogen Technology Expo North America acts as a vital networking and knowledge-sharing hub, connecting industry leaders, researchers, and technology providers. Participants had access to comprehensive insights into emerging hydrogen innovations, market trends, and commercial partnership opportunities.
Representatives from CNTV Houston actively attended the conference sessions, engaging with potential technology partners and gathering valuable information relevant to Vietnam’s energy and industrial cooperation prospects.
