The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) of India has announced that it has received an application requesting an anti-dumping investigation into medical rubber gloves originating in or imported from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Recommendations for Vietnamese Exporters
In response to this development, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) has advised the Vietnam Rubber Association, relevant organizations, and Vietnamese producers/exporters of medical rubber gloves to take the following actions:

Communicate with Indian importers and customers to gather more information about the case and India’s domestic manufacturing situation;
