Indonesia’s Rubber Exports Up 10% Year-on-Year

According to official trade data, Indonesia exported a total of 968,000 tons of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber) in the first seven months of 2025 — an increase of 8% compared to the same period last year.

Of this volume:

  • Standard rubber exports reached 946,000 tons, up 8% year-on-year.

  • Smoked sheet rubber exports remained stable at 21,000 tons.

  • Latex exports fell by 33% compared to the same period in 2024.


Exports to China Surge

From January to July 2025, Indonesia exported 178,000 tons of natural rubber to China, marking a 151% increase year-on-year.
Meanwhile, compound rubber exports to China surged by 275%, reaching 30,000 tons.

Overall, Indonesia’s combined exports of natural and compound rubber totaled 999,000 tons, representing a 10% year-on-year increase.
Shipments to China accounted for 208,000 tons, up 163% compared with the same period last year.
