The Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), Africa’s premier trade and investment event, will take place from September 4 to 10, 2025, in Algiers, the capital of Algeria.
Overview of IATF 2025
Table of Contents
IATF 2025 is expected to attract over 35,000 visitors from more than 140 countries, with the participation of over 2,000 exhibitors across a 100,000 m² exhibition area.
This event serves as a key platform for promoting trade and investment across Africa, designed to leverage opportunities within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) — a unified market of more than 1.4 billion people and a combined GDP exceeding USD 3.5 trillion.
The fair is organized biennially by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC) and the AfCFTA Secretariat.
Over the last three editions of IATF, the event has facilitated more than USD 100 billion in trade and investment deals, attracting over 70,000 visitors and 4,500 exhibiting organizations.
