The 2nd “Startup Mahakumbh 2025” Conference and Exhibition will take place from April 3–5, 2025, at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre, New Delhi, India.

1. Overview of the Event

This flagship startup event is jointly organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India, in collaboration with:

  • The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI),

  • The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM),

  • The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM),

  • The Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation,

  • The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE), and

  • The Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA).

The theme of Startup Mahakumbh 2025 is:

“Startup India@2047 – Unveiling the Indian Growth Story.”

2. Scale and Participation

Building on the success of its first edition in March 2024, the event is expected to expand significantly this year.
The 2024 edition attracted:

  • 1,000+ startups

  • 1,000+ investors

  • 500+ incubators and accelerators

  • 10+ conferences and thematic workshops

  • 5,000+ delegates, including 40,000 entrepreneurs and 10 national delegations

Notably, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior ministers from the Commerce, Science & Technology, and External Affairs ministries attended the inaugural event.

For 2025, the organizers expect:

  • 10,000+ startups,

  • 1,000+ investors, and

  • 1,000+ tech exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge innovations.

The event will feature roundtable discussions, international exchange sessions, and B2B networking programs, offering a premier platform for startups, investors, policymakers, and innovation leaders to connect, collaborate, and explore strategic partnerships.

3. Opportunities for Vietnamese Enterprises

This is an exceptional opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises in science, technology, and innovation sectors to:

  • Bilateral business meetings with Indian partners;

  • Investment and technology exchange sessions;

  • Startup product demonstrations and innovation showcases.
