Invitation to Vietnamese Enterprises to Participate in the Vietnam–Laos Trade Fair 2025 (VIETLAOEXPO 2025)

As part of the National Trade Promotion Program 2025, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize the Vietnam–Laos Trade Fair 2025 (VIETLAOEXPO 2025).

1. Tentative Schedule

From: July 17 to July 21, 2025

2. Venue

Lao-Itecc International Convention and Exhibition Center,
Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR.

3. Scale

The fair will feature 200 standard booths (3m x 3m), including approximately 120 booths from Vietnamese enterprises and organizations showcasing products and services.

4. Objectives

  • Promote the national image, Vietnamese enterprises, and brands;

  • Strengthen exports of Vietnam’s key and high-potential products to Laos and Northeast Thailand;

  • Establish distribution networks and expand investment projects in Laos;

  • Enhance Vietnam–Laos trade cooperation.

5. Exhibited Sectors

  • Agricultural and aquatic products, processed food

  • Garments, textiles, and fashion

  • Electrical and electronic appliances

  • Industrial machinery and equipment

  • Construction materials

  • Wooden furniture and handicrafts

  • Consumer goods

  • Pharmaceuticals and medical equipment

  • Trade and investment services

6. Eligible Participants

All enterprises, organizations, and trade promotion agencies established in accordance with Vietnamese law, including provincial trade promotion centers and industry associations.

7. Selection Criteria

Enterprises should:

  • Have competitive export products suitable for the Lao market;

  • Possess production and export capacity;

  • Have qualified personnel capable of representing the company at an international fair.

8. Participation Costs

a) Government Support

The State will fully cover the following costs:

  • 100% of booth rental;

  • 100% of decoration and setup costs for Vietnam’s national pavilion;

  • 100% of promotion, marketing, and visitor invitation costs.

Each participating enterprise may receive support for up to 4 standard booths (9m² each) depending on priority sector.

b) Costs Covered by Enterprises

  • All travel, accommodation, and customs-related costs;

  • Taxes, transportation, and logistics expenses for displayed goods;

  • Service participation fee: VND 3,000,000 per booth (including VAT).
    VIETRADE will provide payment instructions after confirming registration.

9. Obligations of Participating Enterprises

  • Submit complete registration documents and fulfill financial obligations;

  • Comply with regulations of the organizing committee;

  • Within 15 days after the fair, submit a post-event report to VIETRADE;

  • Enterprises not selected will receive a refund of the service fee within 20 working days after submitting an official refund request.

10. Application Documents

  • Certified copy of the Business Registration Certificate;

  • Registration Form (Form 01);

  • Company Introduction Information (Form 02);

  • Participation Commitment (Form 03);

  • List of Participants (Form 04).

11. Registration Deadline

Before June 15, 2025.

Due to limited booth availability, VIETRADE will notify enterprises after the official participant list is approved.
