Joining Hands to Bring Vietnam’s OCOP Products to the Global Market

From local craft to global brand
Vietnam now has over 17,000 OCOP-certified products, including 126 five-star national-level OCOP products — a clear testament to the country’s strong “One Commune One Product” movement. These items embody the cultural essence of Vietnam, combining local heritage with modern quality standards.

According to Mr. Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade), OCOP products not only boost rural economies but also reflect Vietnam’s regional identity and craftsmanship in every detail.

Expanding export opportunities for OCOP products

Vietnamese OCOP products are gradually entering demanding markets such as the EU, the US, and Japan. With certified quality, eco-friendly packaging, and cultural storytelling, these products are becoming increasingly attractive to international buyers.

Currently, thousands of OCOP items are exported, including all 126 five-star and 300 potential five-star products.
