
On November 25, the MDF VRG Quang Tri Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to announce the completion of its 2021 production and business plan — an impressive achievement marking resilience amid the global pandemic.
Overcoming Challenges Amid COVID-19

The year 2021 posed severe challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during the second and third quarters when many provinces and cities implemented strict lockdowns. Economic activities were largely suspended, supply chains disrupted, and production halted.
However, through unity and determination, MDF VRG Quang Tri successfully maintained operations while ensuring pandemic safety, safeguarding jobs and income for its workers, and delivering outstanding business results.
Production Goals Exceeded
The company officially completed its 2021 production target on October 12, finishing 79 days ahead of schedule.
As of November 22, total production reached 237,153 m³, exceeding the plan by 13%.
Regarding financial performance, total revenue reached VND 963 billion, surpassing the annual target by 8–10%. Profit reached VND 87 billion, 2.6 times higher than the original plan, with the year-end estimate between VND 95–100 billion.
Average income for employees reached VND 13.5 million per month, 59% higher than planned.
Recognition for Excellence
At the ceremony, Mr. Truong Minh Trung, Deputy General Director of VRG, presented the company with a certificate of merit and a reward of VND 40 million for completing its 2021 targets ahead of schedule.
Additionally, the Vietnam Rubber Group Trade Union awarded the company an extra VND 10 million bonus in recognition of its outstanding performance.
