1. A Diverse Showcase of Export-Ready Vietnamese Products

The fair presents a wide range of product categories, including:

  • Agricultural products, food, seafood, and beverages

  • Handicrafts, souvenirs, and regional specialty goods

  • Textiles, footwear, supporting industries, and renewable energy products

According to the organizers, HCM City Export 2025 has drawn participation from nearly 200 international buyers and trade promotion organizations representing markets such as China, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, and Japan.

2. Promoting Green and Digital Exports

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, highlighted that this year’s event focuses on several key goals:

  • Encouraging green exports and promoting environmentally friendly, sustainable production practices.

  • Fostering digital transformation in trade through AI applications and e-commerce, helping enterprises optimize distribution channels and access global markets faster.

  • Targeting high-value export markets and promoting products with high added value, including bird’s nest (yến sào), ginseng, herbal ingredients, and premium processed foods.

“With its expanded scale and new highlights, this fair is not just a trade promotion event but a celebration of Vietnamese craftsmanship — reaffirming the position of Vietnamese products on the global economic map,” Mr. Dung emphasized.

3. Digital Exhibition Debuts on E-Commerce Platform

For the first time, HCM City Export 2025 features a digital exhibition format, hosted on the Arobid TradeXpo global e-commerce platform.
This initiative, organized by the Center for Business Support and Development (CSED) under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, in partnership with Arobid Technology JSC, enables Vietnamese enterprises to leverage digital tools to expand international reach and enhance competitiveness.

4. “Vietnam Bird’s Nest Space” — A Highlight of Innovation

One of the fair’s most notable attractions is the debut of the “Vietnam Bird’s Nest Space”, which marks the beginning of the upcoming “Vietnam Bird’s Nest Festival 2025”, scheduled for October.
This special showcase provides a platform for the Vietnamese bird’s nest industry to demonstrate its quality, sustainability, and export potential in both domestic and global markets.

5. National Participation and Trade Connection Programs

The fair also features representative booths from provinces across Vietnam — including Binh Duong, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Lao Cai, Long An, Ninh Thuan, and Phu Tho — offering a vibrant mix of regional specialties and innovative products.

In addition, a series of trade promotion activities are being held during the event, such as:

  • Forums and conferences on green exports and clean energy opportunities and challenges in Vietnam

  • Workshops on AI-driven e-commerce and smart logistics solutions

  • B2B and online matchmaking sessions, including livestream trade connections with KOLs and KOCs, helping businesses promote their products to a wider audience
