Since 2018, when the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) began implementing its VRG-branded natural rubber (NR) initiative, Phu Rieng Rubber Company Limited has been among the pioneers. The company was the first unit to achieve over 99% VRG-branded NR output for three consecutive years (2020–2022) and has maintained 100% production under the VRG brand since 2023.
Today, Phu Rieng’s VRG-branded natural rubber products have been approved as a global supplier for several leading tire manufacturers worldwide — a clear testament to its production excellence and brand reputation.
Outstanding Performance Recognized by VRG
During the 2018–2022 period, Phu Rieng Rubber consistently exceeded VRG’s assigned targets in both production and marketing of VRG-branded natural rubber. Its performance has been recognized as a bright spot in the entire rubber sector, helping to enhance the visibility and value of the VRG brand in international markets.
Since 2019, Phu Rieng has obtained the PEFC-CoC (Chain of Custody) certification for its sustainable forest management system, contributing to the global recognition of the VRG brand.
From January 2022, all VRG-branded NR products manufactured by Phu Rieng have been labeled with the PEFC certification mark. The company is also the first in Vietnam’s rubber industry to achieve:

100% certified sustainable rubber plantations under the PEFC/VFCS-FM standard, covering over 17,338 hectares;

Chain of Custody (PEFC-CoC) certification for both its rubber processing factories.
Furthermore, Phu Rieng has implemented digital traceability using smartphone applications, allowing customers to easily verify the origin and sustainability credentials of each batch. This innovation has strengthened customer trust and reinforced the premium image of the VRG brand.
Leading Digital Transformation in Rubber Production
Phu Rieng considers digital transformation as the backbone of its sustainable development strategy. The company has developed an integrated quality management software system to analyze and evaluate testing results, improving product ranking, forecasting quality trends, and making timely production adjustments.
This digital solution enables Phu Rieng to meet the specific quality requirements of each client, ensuring consistency and reliability.
A major milestone is the company’s deployment of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, which integrates all existing management software into a single digital ecosystem. This cloud-based ERP platform utilizes Big Data and real-time analytics, allowing comprehensive management of all production and business operations.
