
In an effort to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, issued by the Politburo of Vietnam on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, the Embassy of Vietnam in India actively supported and connected the Vietnamese business delegation participating in the Mahakumbh Startup 2025 Conference and Exhibition, held from April 3–5, 2025, at the Bharat Mandapam Exhibition and Convention Centre in New Delhi, India.

The event was co-organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with leading industry bodies and associations such as FICCI, ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, BOOTSTRAP, TiE, and IVCA.
As a partner country, Vietnam showcased its strong commitment to the startup ecosystem while leveraging the event to enhance cooperation with India’s top businesses, investors, and technology organizations.
Strengthening Vietnam–India Innovation Partnership
With the theme “Startup India@2047 – Unfolding the Indian Story,” the conference served as an important platform for Vietnam and India to share experiences and explore cooperation in key sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, robotics, renewable energy, and digital transformation.
Both countries are emerging as dynamic innovation hubs — India boasts one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems, while Vietnam is becoming a promising destination for technology investors in Southeast Asia.
The Vietnam Trade Office in India has been proactive in fostering strategic connections between the two sides, aligning efforts with Resolution 57-NQ/TW to promote innovation-driven and technology-oriented collaboration.

The Vietnam startup pavilion attracted strong interest from Indian partners, opening up numerous collaboration opportunities in technology and innovation sectors.

This event marked a significant step in advancing Vietnam–India trade, technology, and innovation partnerships, contributing to the realization of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.
Through such initiatives, Vietnam continues to strengthen its position as a pioneer in innovation and digital transformation, building deeper, long-term cooperation with India and the broader global startup community.
