Themed “Sustainable Rubber – The Trend of the Era,” the RubberTech Vietnam 2024 Exhibition is one of the most significant industrial events of the year. It is co-organized by Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC (VIETFAIR), the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Chemical Industry Sub-Council (CCPIT CHEM), and China Zhonglian Rubber Group (CURC), with the support of domestic and international trade associations and relevant authorities.
A Platform for Global Business Connections
The exhibition will take place from November 27–29, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), located at 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. It serves as a major platform for business networking, trade promotion, and showcasing cutting-edge technologies and materials within the rubber and tire industries.
The event will feature over 130 exhibitors from Vietnam and abroad, introducing a wide range of innovative products and technologies across several key sectors:
-
Rubber materials: natural rubber, synthetic rubber, recycled rubber, compound rubber, etc.
-
Rubber chemicals: vulcanizing agents, antioxidants, carbon black, and additives.
-
Machinery and equipment: tire machinery, rubber tape and footwear machinery, and related accessories.
-
Reinforcement materials: steel cord, bead wire, industrial fabrics, and composite textiles.
-
Tires and tubes: tires, inner tubes, wheels, valves, and components.
-
Non-tire rubber products: hoses, adhesives, rubber foam, industrial and household rubber products, footwear, and apparel.
Supporting Investment and Trade Growth
The implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has paved the way for increased foreign direct investment (FDI) into Vietnam’s rubber industry. By gradually reducing import duties on raw materials, machinery, and equipment to 0%, the agreement encourages joint ventures and production partnerships while stimulating industrial services in rubber-based industrial zones.
As a result, Vietnam’s rubber processing industry is moving toward higher value-added production, diversified product lines, and deeper integration into global supply chains, from raw material supply to finished product exports.
In recent years, Vietnam’s rubber industry has grown rapidly to meet increasing global demand, playing an essential role in supplying key materials to industrial manufacturing, automotive assembly, electronics, footwear, textiles, construction, medical equipment, and consumer goods sectors.
Driving Innovation and Sustainable Development
The organizing committee believes that RubberTech Vietnam 2024 will provide strong support for domestic and international enterprises in expanding markets, increasing orders, and promoting sustainable production.
The exhibition will also feature technical workshops and industry seminars focused on Vietnam’s rubber and tire market trends, as well as business matching sessions and field visits to factories in southern Vietnam.
Through these activities, the event aims to strengthen knowledge exchange, technological cooperation, and global partnerships, contributing to the sustainable and modern growth of the Vietnamese rubber industry.
