Tan Binh Industrial Park: Moving Toward a Green and Sustainable Future

Nearly a decade after its establishment, Tan Binh Industrial Park (TBIP) has achieved remarkable success. For three consecutive years (2019–2021), TBIP earned the Sustainable Business Certificate awarded by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD). In 2021, TBIP proudly received the prestigious Vietnam Gold Star Award, recognizing its consistent contributions to the country’s industrial development and sustainability.

Green Growth and Sustainable Development – The Core Strategy

Throughout its operation, TBIP has actively promoted innovation, technological advancement, and eco-friendly practices to develop a truly green and sustainable industrial park.

Phase 1 of the project, covering 352.5 hectares, has been completely occupied. Alongside infrastructure expansion and investment attraction, TBIP has prioritized environmental protection, implementing numerous sustainable initiatives from the project’s inception.

To minimize environmental impact, the park was master-planned with zoning by pollution levels—high-emission, low-emission, and clean-production zones—combined with green space distribution that meets national standards and ensures minimal disruption to surrounding communities.

Since the start of construction in 2014, TBIP has consistently attracted strong investor interest. Each year, 10–20 hectaresof land are leased to both domestic and foreign investors.

Currently, TBIP hosts 66 investment projects, including 33 domestic projects (total investment of VND 1,834 billion) and 33 foreign projects (total investment of USD 294.6 million). The park accommodates over 80 enterprisesemploying more than 14,000 workers.

Most projects are low-emission and energy-efficient, emphasizing waste reuse and minimal discharge. TBIP’s central wastewater treatment plant operates 24 hours a day, meeting discharge standards before releasing treated water into the environment. The park also features automated water quality monitoring and surveillance systems, transmitting data in real time to the Binh Duong Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Flexible Business Policies and Comprehensive Investor Support

Strategically located in a prime area, TBIP differentiates itself through flexible investment policies, efficient administrative services, and diverse support solutions. The park ensures fast issuance of land use certificates, effective customer care, and strong investor relations, encouraging satisfied investors to refer new partners to explore investment opportunities at TBIP.

Investors also benefit from attractive incentives such as:

  • Corporate income tax exemption for the first two years,

  • 50% tax reduction for the following four years.

Post-pandemic, TBIP has continued to assist enterprises in restoring and enhancing production efficiency. Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, General Director of TBIP, shared:

“We’ve implemented several support mechanisms to facilitate business operations, address challenges, and maintain employment stability for local workers. These include assistance for foreign specialists with immigration procedures, deferred payment policies for infrastructure and management fees, and the reduction or exemption of late-payment interest.”

He added that TBIP actively supports enterprises in recruitment, documentation, and export–import facilitation, helping them recover quickly and sustain long-term growth.

A Leading Destination for Industrial Investment

Thanks to its eco-friendly orientation, transparent policies, and comprehensive service infrastructure, Tan Binh Industrial Park has become a trusted destination for domestic and international investors.

For several consecutive years, TBIP has ranked among the Top 10 Most Reputable Industrial Real Estate Companies in Vietnam, as recognized by Vietnam Report JSC.
