
On February 4, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) received official notice from the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) of Thailand regarding the initiation of a sunset review of the anti-dumping (AD) duty order on Cold-Reduced Carbon Steel in Coils and Not in Coils originating in or imported from Vietnam, China, and Taiwan.

Investigation Procedures
The DFT has issued questionnaires for foreign producers and exporters to collect relevant data for the investigation.
The deadline for submission of responses is 4:30 p.m. (Bangkok time) on March 7, 2025.

For the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA):

Notify relevant manufacturers and exporters about the initiation of the review.

Encourage participation in the investigation where appropriate.
For Manufacturers and Exporters:

Register and submit questionnaire responses on time and in the required format.

Fully cooperate with the investigating authority throughout the process (including questionnaire responses and written comments) to avoid being considered non-cooperative, which often leads to adverse findings.

Ensure compliance with all procedural and timing requirements set by the DFT.

Coordinate closely with the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam for timely assistance and official guidance.
