The Central Highlands is now at the peak of its most strenuous, joyful, and bustling time of the year: the coffee harvest season. Across the endless green of mountain fields, from deep valleys to every path leading from villages to plantations and even spilling into the town streets, the scene is alive with the vibrant, hurried rhythm of coffee picking.
It’s no exaggeration to say that these days, Central Highlands farmers “eat, sleep, and breathe coffee.” More than that, the entire community moves to the beat of the coffee cycle: when farmers’ pockets are full, the merchants in the marketplaces can’t help but feel the rush of money in their own hands.
