
Vietnam’s automobile manufacturing and assembly enterprises are actively expanding into international markets — not only meeting domestic demand but also strengthening export activities.
Thaco Expands Exports to the Middle East, India, and Cambodia

According to Thaco Group, since the beginning of 2025, Thaco Auto has successfully exported a range of vehicles abroad. Notably, 120 Kia Frontier K2500 trucks were shipped to the Middle East, marking an important milestone in entering a region known for its strict quality standards.
In addition, 400 Kia New Carnival body kits were exported to India, while 45 Peugeot Django 150cc scooters reached Cambodia. All these vehicles were produced at Thaco Auto’s manufacturing complex in Chu Lai, Quang Nam.
Hyundai TC Motor Expands Overseas Market
Hyundai Thành Công (TC Motor) is also strengthening export activities.
Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan stated that after successfully exporting hundreds of Hyundai Palisade SUVs to Thailand in 2024, the company plans to expand exports of several models to international markets in 2025.
The presence of Vietnamese-made passenger cars in Thailand—one of Southeast Asia’s leading automotive manufacturing hubs—is not only a major milestone but also a remarkable “turnaround” for Vietnam’s auto industry.

VinFast Targets New Markets
Meanwhile, VinFast, the car brand founded by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, continues to expand globally. The company plans to launch the right-hand drive version of the VF3 in Indonesia, along with several other international markets.

Experts emphasize that automobile exports not only bring direct benefits to enterprises but also play a crucial role in boosting Vietnam’s economy and developing supporting industries.
