Vietnam–Japan Cross-Border E-Commerce: Opportunities Ahead
In the context of rapid global digital transformation, cross-border e-commerce presents unprecedented opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to reach international consumers — particularly in Japan, one of Vietnam’s leading trade and technology partners.
Japan not only serves as a major consumer market, but also as a source of advanced technology, expertise, and successful digital business models.
Through forums like this, both countries’ businesses have the chance to:
-
Engage directly and explore partnership opportunities,
-
Exchange insights and needs for cooperation,
-
Develop collaborative models such as OEM production, e-commerce distribution, and cross-border logistics partnerships.
Strengthening Trust and Digital Collaboration
The forum was more than just a networking opportunity — it served as a bridge for policy updates, market trends, and business cooperation.
With support from trade promotion agencies, associations, and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises are well-positioned to elevate cooperation in trade, technology, and digital transformation to new heights.
