According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the total bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and the Russian Federation reached USD 2.03 billion in the first five months of 2025, marking a slight increase of 1.4% year-on-year.
Exports from Vietnam to Russia totaled USD 975.3 million, down 1.36% compared to the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, imports from Russia rose by 4.08%, reaching USD 1.06 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of approximately USD 81.6 million for Vietnam.
