The Vietnam–UAE Business and Investment Forum is set to take place on April 10, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This forum is a significant event aimed at enhancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries while promoting the presence of Vietnamese goods and enterprises in the UAE and the broader Middle Eastern market.
Strengthening Vietnam–UAE Economic Ties
Beyond its trade promotion objectives, the forum is also part of Vietnam’s economic diplomacy strategy, positioning the UAE as a key gateway to the Middle East. The Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE expects the event to open up new collaboration opportunities and bring businesses from both sides closer to shared development goals.
Speaking ahead of the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE Nguyen Thanh Diep emphasized that, under the theme “Vietnam–UAE Trade Gateway: Connecting the Right Needs, Partnering with the Right Partners,” the forum will bring together experts, investors, and business leaders for in-depth discussions analyzing market trends, economic policies, and business prospects in the UAE.
The forum will also create direct networking opportunities for Vietnamese companies to connect with potential UAE partners, facilitating trade promotion and market expansion.

Vietnam–UAE Partnership Outlook
According to Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Diep, over the past 30 years, the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the UAE have grown positively across political, economic, diplomatic, investment, labor, and tourism sectors.
In 2024, the two countries witnessed remarkable progress, with more UAE corporations expressing interest in partnering with Vietnamese businesses. The UAE, with its large-scale investment funds, and Vietnam, with its growing demand for investment in innovation, infrastructure, renewable energy, oil & gas, and logistics, share strong complementarities.
Vietnam currently exports to the UAE a variety of products such as household goods, electronics, computers, and agricultural products including pepper and cashew nuts, all of which have seen rising market demand in the UAE.
A notable initiative by the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE is the establishment of the Vietnamese Business Association in the UAE (VBA-UAE), which serves as a vital bridge for legal and procedural support for Vietnamese enterprises expanding into the UAE market, while also helping UAE investors connect with opportunities in Vietnam.
