Vietnamese Products Draw Strong Interest
Throughout the three-day event, the Vietnam Trade Office welcomed thousands of visitors and businesses to sample Vietnamese tea, coffee, confectionery, and beverages.
Vietnamese products were highly praised by Chilean partners and consumers for their quality, distinctive flavors, and diversity, with many expressing a desire to establish trade partnerships with Vietnam.
Deepening Cooperation Opportunities with Chile
Although many of Vietnam’s agricultural, seafood, and food products hold leading positions in global markets, their market share in Chile remains modest.
Therefore, through this exhibition, the Vietnam Trade Office aimed to introduce high-quality, reliable Vietnamese products to the Chilean business community and consumers, thereby expanding Vietnam’s presence in this potential market via partnerships with Chilean enterprises participating in the fair — and promoting Vietnamese exports to Chile in particular and Latin America in general.
Within the framework of the event, the Trade Office also introduced the Vietnamese market and promoted the annual “Vietnam International Sourcing” event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Chilean businesses were invited to visit Vietnam to seek direct sourcing opportunities. The Trade Office highlighted Vietnam’s advantages as a supplier:
-
Zero import tariffs under trade agreements such as VCFTA and CPTPP;
-
Abundant supply and diverse, high-quality products;
-
Modern processing technology;
-
Well-developed logistics and seaports with strong global connectivity;
-
Open policies and deep international integration through 17 effective Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
Strengthening Bilateral Trade Relations
Vietnam’s participation at Espacio Food & Service 2025 demonstrated its strong commitment to enhancing Vietnam–Chile bilateral trade, creating new opportunities for Vietnamese goods to penetrate deeper into Latin America — a potential region with growing demand for high-quality agricultural, seafood, and food products.
