Recently, the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia paid a visit to the Ginseng Ngoc Linh Cambodia Office in Phnom Penh to exchange information, listen to the company’s feedback, and discuss future business cooperation opportunities.

Promoting “Vietnamese Goods for Vietnamese People” Abroad
The Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia called on the Vietnamese and Vietnamese-origin communities living in Cambodia to support and prioritize Vietnamese products, including Ngoc Linh Ginseng, as part of the “Vietnamese People Prioritize Vietnamese Goods” campaign launched by the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The office emphasized that such actions will help strengthen solidarity among consumers, promote Vietnamese brands abroad, and support business growth in both countries.
About Ngoc Linh Ginseng (Panax vietnamensis)
Ngoc Linh Ginseng is a rare medicinal plant endemic to Vietnam, belonging to the Araliaceae family, and is often called Vietnamese ginseng or K5 ginseng.
It grows naturally in the Ngoc Linh Mountain range, spanning Kon Tum and Quang Nam provinces, at altitudes between 1,200–2,100 meters. The ginseng thrives under the forest canopy along humid, organic-rich mountain slopes.
Scientific studies since 1978 have revealed that Ngoc Linh Ginseng contains 50 saponins, including 24 unique compounds not found in any other ginseng species.
This makes it one of the most valuable and bioactive ginseng varieties in the world, surpassing even Korean ginseng, which contains around 25 saponins (Source: Wikipedia).
