On May 11–12, a delegation from the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) led by Deputy General Director Truong Minh Trung visited Chư Păh Rubber Co., Ltd., Chư Mom Ray Rubber Co., Ltd., and Sa Thầy Rubber JSC to inspect preparations for the production of the new SVR 10 Mix rubber product line.
Inspecting Facilities and Production Readiness
During the working sessions, company leaders reported on production results for the first months of the year, maintenance work, and preparations for the upcoming tapping season, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are ready for the new processing campaign.
SVR 10 Mix is a new blended rubber product, combining a specific proportion of SBR 1502 synthetic rubber with SVR 10 natural rubber to meet customer specifications and enhance product diversity.
VRG has assigned six units to produce this product: Loc Ninh, Hoa Binh, Quang Nam, Dien Bien, Son La, and Hoang Anh Mang Yang K Rubber, with a total production target of 8,900 tons. Additionally, for the Central Highlands region, VRG has proposed Chư Mom Ray and Sa Thầy Rubber Companies to participate, with a combined output target of 5,500 tons for 2023.
Ensuring Quality and Market Expansion
After inspecting factory maintenance, equipment installation, and production readiness, Deputy General Director Truong Minh Trung praised the proactive and thorough preparations of the companies but cautioned against complacency.
He emphasized that since SVR 10 Mix is a newly introduced product line—and this will be the first batch delivered to customers—the companies must prioritize product quality to establish a solid reputation for future shipments.
He requested that the Rubber Mechanical Engineering JSC complete the installation of all equipment by the end of May, so that production of the first batches can begin in June. He also urged the VRG Business and Market Divisionto support the units in product marketing and customer outreach.
Guaranteed Market Consumption
A representative from the VRG Market Division confirmed that the Group has already signed sales contracts for 5,000 tons of SVR 10 Mix. Therefore, the planned production and sales of 3,500–4,000 tons from Chư Mom Ray Rubber Co.are fully covered under existing consumption commitments, ensuring that 100% of registered output will be sold.
