
To mark the beginning of the Lunar New Year (Giáp Thìn 2024), the leadership of the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG)conducted visits to several of its industrial product and wood-processing subsidiaries on February 19 to encourage employees and review early-year production activities.
Encouraging a Strong Start to the New Year
The working delegation was led by Mr. Tran Cong Kha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the VRG Board of Directors, accompanied by Mr. Truong Minh Trung, VRG Deputy General Director, together with leaders of the Group’s Industrial Division and Market–Business Division.
The delegation visited and extended New-Year greetings to employees at:

Thuan An Wood Processing JSC, and

Dong Hoa Wood Processing One-Member LLC (Rubber Industry & Export-Import JSC).
At each company, VRG executives listened to management reports on 2023 business performance and plans for 2024.
Acknowledging Achievements and Setting New Directions
After reviewing the reports, Chairman Tran Cong Kha praised the companies for their efforts in overcoming difficulties, fulfilling 2023 targets, and maintaining production momentum from the first working days of 2024.
He emphasized that each subsidiary must capitalize on existing strengths, maintain efficient production, and continue researching domestic and international markets. He also urged broader application of science and technology in manufacturing furniture, sports balls, conveyor belts, and rubber-mechanical equipment to enhance product competitiveness and meet rising export and consumer demand.
During the visits, the delegation toured workshops producing rubber-processing machinery at Rubber Mechanical JSC and sports ball manufacturing lines at Geru Star Sports JSC. At Thuan An Wood Processing JSC and Dong Hoa Wood Processing LLC, VRG leaders commended initiatives in digital transformation and product innovation that strengthen VRG’s position in the domestic and export markets.
Focus on Human Resources and Digital Transformation
Mr. Kha called on all units to intensify digital transformation in management and production, invest effectively in each sector, and develop a qualified leadership and technical workforce with strong ethics, political awareness, and professional competence. He highlighted the importance of talent retention policies, particularly for skilled workers in key technical areas.
On behalf of the Group’s leadership, he extended New-Year greetings to all employees, wishing them a productive year filled with enthusiasm and determination to successfully achieve VRG’s 2024 goals.
